Szymon Darius Chrost finished his Master thesis in bioinformatics with an excellent result! Szymon explored possibilities of investigating sparse patient data. In a large cohort of patients with acute myeloid leukemia, Szymon had a closer look at genetically defined subgroups and implemented methods such as oversampling to make even smaller samples operable using unsupervised machine learning algorithms.
